FNYH, established in 1994, is dedicated to preserving the natural world and its biodiversity, while promoting a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment.
FNYH focuses on:
- Habitat and species conservation: Protecting native flora and fauna in their natural state.
- Restoration of degraded ecosystems: Bringing damaged areas back to ecological health.
- Sustainable traditional practices: Encouraging human activities that coexist with, rather than harm, the environment.
- Environmental education: Raising awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature.
Thanks to the efforts of this NGO, The Campanarios de Azaba Biological Reserve, once a livestock farm, has been transformed into a priority site for nature conservation.
